SunGard upgrades ALM tool

SunGard Trading and Risk Systems, an operating group of US technology company SunGard, has released a new version of its asset and liability management (ALM) software, BancWare Convergence.

SunGard says the latest release includes a high-precision analytical engine to help clients analyse risk, forecast performance and develop strategies for optimising risk-adjusted returns.

The Microsoft Windows-based technology platform now supports multiple users, facilitating the collaborative work of ALM analysts.

Other features include tools for multi-dimensional analysis, enabling clients to build balance-sheet models and conduct risk profile evaluation, and time-series processing allowing users to simulate events in time at any time.
