Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking's involvement in a crucial pipeline project that will ensure security of gas supply to Europe has been recognised as one of Energy Risk's Deals of the Year for 2011. The global investment bank has acted as financial advisor on the Nord Stream pipeline project since 2007 and the financing of the first phase of the deal was closed in May 2010.
