John O’Callaghan joins French bank in New York from Garda Capital

Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank has hired John O’Callaghan in New York as head of US dollar interest rate swaps and US Treasuries trading, after a five-year stint on the buy side.

O’Callaghan joins the French bank from Garda Capital Partners, where he was a portfolio manager, prior to which he was a trader at Tenaron Capital Management. He joined Tenaron in 2018 from Barclays, where he was head of US dollar interest swaps and global head of rates e-trading, according to his LinkedIn
