Now in its 12th year, the Energy Risk USA conference in Houston once again brought together key figures in the energy industry to debate the hottest topics. The Energy Risk team reports

With spiralling global oil prices and power price spikes in Texas dominating media headlines, the congregation of energy risk management professionals at the Energy Risk USA conference in Houston in early June was particularly timely.

Over 300 delegates gathered to hear speakers across three streams address cutting-edge issues for the energy business, from regulatory risk to quantitative analysis, and from the credit crunch to opportunities in carbon trading and renewable energy.
