Operational risk software vendors say the market is shaping up, but is this view still too optimistic? By Dianne See Morrison

OPERATIONAL risk software vendors are feeling optimistic. In an ever-evolving industry, they say the worst of the consolidation is now behind them.

"There is still some way to go, and we will see a couple of products just go away and a couple more companies gobbled up, but as we move into next year the shakeout will be over," says Peter Morgan, vice-president of marketing at OpenPages.
