Integral awarded patent for Web technology

Californian software company Integral Development said it has secured a patent for its Web-based straight-through processing transaction technology. The patent applies to Integral’s Integral Direct FX, Direct Derivatives, AutoDealer and Integral Financial Server products.

Integral’s technology uses the XML language for its Web-based products. The company said the patent protects the processes and online communication required for the transaction and settlement of over-the-counter foreign exchange products, interest rate derivatives and money market instrument.

Companies currently using Integral include Bank of Ireland and Japan's UFJ Holdings.
