Fears over LNG supplies being diverted from Europe to Japan are receding but a rethink on energy strategies remains as energy markets react to Japan’s crisis. Rebecca Hampson reports
The catastrophe in Japan is causing countries around the world to rethink their energy supply strategies. Japan, a country reliant solely on liquefied natural gas (LNG) for its gas supply could find that it leans on imported gas as questions arise over the future of nuclear power.
