Webster Financial expands use of BancWare
Webster expands use of SunGard's BancWare.
Webster Financial Corporation has announced its intention to expand the use of SunGard’s BancWare solution suite for integrated risk management across the group.
The expanded use of BancWare will help Webster achieve better profitability calculations and more accurate front-end pricing. The expansion implementation encompasses financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, economic capital and risk ratings, RAROC pricing, product and customer profitability, and cost allocation. These components will work together with the existing BancWare asset/liability management and data integration tools to help Webster more accurately measure line-of-business performance, pinpoint capital requirements, and optimise origination and distribution processes.
