European Parliament’s plenary vote on Omnibus II delayed again

Concerns mount over Solvency II implementation timetable as plenary vote rescheduled to September

The European Parliament's plenary vote on Omnibus II has been postponed for a further two months to provide adequate time for negotiations between the European institutions.

The delay to the vote, now scheduled to take place on September 10, has added further fuel to fears that the implementation of Solvency II on January 1, 2014 could be threatened.
