Final rules on securitisation due by year-end, EBA says

European issuers forced to work with incomplete legislation for another six months at least

A senior official at the European Banking Authority expects that a series of rules critical to understanding new requirements for securitisations will be adopted by the European Commission in July and finalised by the end of the year.
