LTCB Bonds Trading Probe

LTCB Trust, the U.S. subsidiary of Tokyo-based Long Term Credit Bank of Japan, is being investigated by U.S. regulatory authorities regarding an unnamed trader's false reporting of bond trades, according to a story that ran in the April 2 Financial Times.

Representatives of the U.S. regulators involved in the investigation declined to confirm or deny or comment on the investigation. The regulators say it is the policy of the U.S. authorities not to comment on any potential pending investigations
