When banks pitch for a bond deal, they often point to their position in a bookrunner league table. What banks do not mention – and what is arguably the most important aspect – is their willingness to provide liquidity in the bonds they have brought to market.

Credit magazine’s sterling corporate bond market liquidity survey has a simple aim: to give borrowing corporates a league table of which banks are best at providing liquidity in sterling corporate bonds by asking
