Three co-heads named after Pantazopoulos ends nine-year run at the head of rates group

Goldman Sachs has named three co-heads of global interest rate products (IRP) trading, after the division’s previous head, Kostas Pantazopoulos, moved to a new role.

In an internal memo sent on April 28 and seen by Risk.net, it was announced that Hidehiro Imatsu, Nirubhan Pathmanabhan and Scott Rofey will lead the bank’s IRP trading business. The move comes after Pantazopoulos, who had been in charge of global IRP since 2008, was named head of risk management strategies for the securities
