HKMA: new directors across business areas

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) has announced four senior appointments. Howard Lee has been named senior executive director with effect from February 26, 2016. He will succeed Peter Pang who will retire next February. Lee assumed his present position as executive director in 2013 and is responsible for the HKMA's liquidity operations for the offshore renminbi market, financial stability surveillance, and issuance and circulation of the local legal tender notes and coins.
