Loh Boon Chye: new CEO of Singapore Exchange

Singapore Exchange (SGX) has appointed Loh Boon Chye as its new chief executive officer, taking over from Magnus Bocker, who will step down on June 30. Loh begins the role on July 14. Loh has 26 years' experience in the financial industry, starting as an investment officer with the Monetary Authority of Singapore in 1989.

He joined the Singapore branch of Morgan Guaranty Trust Company of New York in 1992 before turning to Deutsche Bank where he held roles including chief executive of the global
