Mizuho adds to London high yield team

Mizuho International, the securities and investment banking arm of Japan’s Mizuho Financial Group, has beefed up its recently established high yield group.

Frank Mertens joins the primary debt capital markets group as director, fixed income trading, with responsibility for high yield. Mertens previously worked in debt capital markets at LBBW.

Chris Macmillan has left Crédit Agricole to take up the position of director, fixed income sales at Mizuho. Isabel Vidaurrazaga joins as vice-president
