RBS hires Hill for financials DCM structuring post

Royal Bank of Scotland has hired a new director for its global banking and markets division. Nick Hill joins the financial institutions DCM capital structuring and advisory team, a newly created role. He will report to Christoffer Mollenbach, head of European financial institutions DCM origination, and will be based in London.

Hill joins from Standard & Poor’s, where he was a senior bank analyst responsible for European bank research from 2005. Prior to this he worked as a senior associate at the FSA in the wholesale investment banks department, and as a senior equity research analyst covering European banks for Morgan Stanley.

Also in financial institutions DCM, Christoph Anhamm has been promoted to head of covered bond origination. Anhamm will report to Mollenbach, and will be based in Frankfurt. Anhamm was previously head of covered bonds development.
