A number of cable companies that went bankrupt in the last two years are now returning from the brink of financial ruin. Hardeep Dhillon examines how management has changed and whether they will get it right this time

The European High Yield Association last month raised questions about the future of the UK and European cable companies. For investors this will be an issue that needs a satisfactory outcome if they are ever to invest in the sector again. The market is debating whether cable could be a valid investment opportunity; discussions are likely to continue as many market participants seem to have opposing views as to which way some of the cable companies are heading.
