Appointment at Linklaters

Law firm Linklaters has hired Chin-Chong Liew from rival Allen & Overy in Hong Kong as partner and head of derivatives and structured products for Asia ex-Japan in the capital markets group. Liew, who has served at Allen & Overy as partner since 2000, will focus on the development of derivatives and structured products in China. However, Liew's official start date and reporting line at Linklaters were unconfirmed by press time.
