Griffith appointed to third term at CBOE

The board of directors of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) has re-appointed Bradley Griffith as vice-chairman of the exchange for a third consecutive one-year term in 2009.

CBOE chairman and chief executive William Brodsky said: "[Griffith's] extensive experience and insight into industry issues has been integral in shaping many Exchange initiatives." Griffith has been a member of the CBOE since 1980 and was previously a managing member of one of its primary market-making firms, Specialists DPM.

The vice-chairman has a maximum limit of three terms.
