Merrill loses London head of FX trading

Harry Culham has left Merrill Lynch in London, where he was head of FX trading for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Senior dealer Duncan Rule has taken on Culham’s responsibilities for spot and forwards FX trading, though the bank would not comment on whether an external replacement would later be hired.

Culham’s departure follows the hiring of Michael deSa as head of global FX at Merrill Lynch in December. George Hanjinicolaou, managing director for FX and emerging markets at Merrill Lynch prior to deSa’s appointment, has already left the US investment bank.
