Blewitt exits creditex for BofA

Former creditex chief strategic officer Dik Blewitt has been hired by Bank of America in New York as a managing director in its structured credit products group. Blewitt will structure credit products using credit derivatives for pension funds and insurance clients in the US.

He will report to Charles McLendon, global head of structured credit products for both marketing and trading, who is also based in New York.

Blewitt will work on structuring collateralised debt obligation (CDO) products, new solutions for pension funds, funding trades for insurance companies and structuring credit products for insurers and reinsurers at BofA.

Pension funds will be strong users of credit derivatives for both tax and fund categorisation purposes in the future, said Blewwitt
