Pimco unveils long bonds fund

Pimco has launched a new pooled fund to give investors access to European long bonds. The Euro Long Average Duration Fund will hold at least 67% of its assets in euro-denominated securities, but will also invest in global bond markets in order to diversify its strategies.

"The fund will remain true to Pimco's core investment philosophy: diversify globally, focus on a long-term outlook and capture structurally mispriced market opportunities," says Emanuele Ravano, co-head of European investment
