FVC custom indexes

Taking December 31, 2003 as a start date and assuming that all four benchmark indexes were then at 100, it is apparent that they have all lost value. At the end of May 2009, the FTSE 100 was the best performer at 98.7% of its initial level, with the S&P 500 the worst at 86.66%. The indexes' performance is closely linked to the levels of the underlying indexes, but the effect on each one differs between product types.
