High-yield fund flows sag as spread rally falters

High-yield fund flows are dropping despite a record weekly inflow in late August. The $3.3 billion injection barely netted out the painful run of outflows over late July and early August, and was followed in September by a trickle of small outflows. After steady inflows throughout the first half of the year, high-yield flows have returned to their characteristic volatility.
