ASF 2009 highlights challenges for securitisation market
The annual conference for securitisation professionals, held in Las Vegas, showed that the industry is under no illusions about the difficulties it is currently going through, but that there is a collective will to turn the situation round. Mark Kahn of Principia Partners gives a view from the ground
February 8-11, 2009, Las Vegas, USA. Home again to the largest annual conference for securitisation professionals, hosted and organized by the American Securitization Forum.
The ASF builds consensus around securitisation business practices, advocates on behalf of its membership, and fulfils an important educational mission in the financial community. To conference participants, most of whom are directly affected by the current credit market crisis, the ASF's mission has never been more critical.
