The transparency tide
The issue of counterparty risk and how best to convey it to retail investors dominated the agenda at the Structured Products Europe conference. Delegates from across Europe gathered at the Park Plaza Victoria Hotel in London for the Structured Products Europe conference on November 11 and 12. Guy Aufenacker, deputy managing director for private banking at Berenberg Bank, described the structured products landscape as one that has changed significantly as a result of a 'credit tsunami'.
