Nel corso degli ultimi due anni il mercato italiano dei prodotti strutturati ha vissuto un cambiamento straordinario in quanto Borsa italiana ha incrementato la quota di business dei derivati cartolarizzati quotando una quantita sempre maggiore di prodotti. Nel 2005, sono stati scambiati in Borsa 7.253 derivati cartolarizzati, a fronte degli appena 4.395 nel 2004. Si prevede che la cifra di quest'anno superera quella del 2005.
