London interbank offered rate (Libor)
The rate of interest at which banks borrow funds from other banks, in marketable size, in the London interbank market. Although traditionally published by the British Bankers Association (BBA), the operation of Libor passed to the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) in 2014 following a manipulation scandal. The benchmark is quoted for 10 currencies in 15 different maturities.
