UK bank expands commodities team with Koch hire

Barclays exited much of its commodities business last year, but has since been hiring energy traders

Barclays has hired an energy derivatives trader in Singapore to bulk up its global commodities business, Risk.net has learned.

Scott Foster joined the UK bank in recent weeks from Koch Industries, the Kansas-based industrial and energy group that also boasts a significant derivatives trading operation.
