Given that the middle classes have been identified as an increasingly prosperous component of the Peruvian economic growth story, it makes sense to offer them their very own Middle Class bond, which is what BBVA Bancomer has done. The launch of the bond, combined with its continued success in Mexico and ambitions for the domestic structured products markets in Chile and Colombia, helps to demonstrate how the Spanish bank remains one-step ahead of its competitors.
