Best catastrophe modelling software: Aon Benfield

With a spate of catastrophic events occurring around the world, in combination with encroaching regulatory pressures, insurers are paying increasing attention to their catastrophe risk modelling. This summer, Aon Benfield launched Elements 7, a transparent and customisable risk assessment tool, which enables insurers to create and implement bespoke vulnerability curves, calculate loss-event footprints and create their own complete models.
