In what was predicted to be a hotly contested category there emerged one clear winner of the inaugural Compliance Executive of the Year Award. Despite stiff competition for the title, Jonathan Gray, head of Basel II regulatory developments within group risk management at Royal Bank of Scotland came away with a substantial margin of the public vote to seize the prize.
