One of the key ingredients behind the success of Cheyne Capital is the close friendship of its founders, Jonathan Lourie and Stuart Fiertz. Both attended the same school in Geneva and then went on to the same university in New Hampshire. The two ended up at Morgan Stanley and have collaborated since 1991.
