Event driven boosted in 2014 by $43 billion flows

Activist strategies account for approximately $14 billion of total

Event driven has been the second most popular strategy among hedge fund investors in 2014, behind only multi-strategy. Total assets under management (AUM) in event driven funds reached $582.5 billion through the end of November.
