Old Mutual listens to investors reacting to a changing environment

Old Mutual Global Investors (OMGI) hopes to attract a new type of investor with the replication of its alternative Ucits hedge fund strategy in a Cayman-domiciled fund.

In replicating its Ucits vehicle within an offshore structure, OMGI hopes to widen its appeal to larger institutional investors while maintaining its strong relationship with traditionally smaller-scale Ucits investors looking for a more transparent, regulated and liquid fund structure.

OMGI launched its first Cayman-domiciled
