Abria opens hedge fund product up to Europeans to raise assets

Abria Financial Group has made its fund of hedge funds product available to European investors for the first time.


The Abria Diversified Arbitrage Fund, originally only available to Canadian investors, is a multi-strategy fund of funds that, for three years, has invested in funds pursuing relative value strategies. The fund has attracted $50m from its homeland investors.


Now the company is looking towards the world market for hedge funds with aiming to raise assets in the fund to $500m, according
