The US Futures Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)

and the Jersey Financial Services Commission have established a joint framework for information sharing and co-operation in cross-border investigations into violations of securities and futures laws. SEC chairman Harvey Pitt, said the new legislation adopted in Jersey significantly expands the Jersey Financial Services Commission's ability to obtain information and to share it with foreign authorities.
