Malta accountants see expansion of hedge fund industry boosting bottom line

As Malta’s funds sector and the overall financial services industry grows, accountancy firms are finding it difficult to find enough staff and are using global networks for expertise and experience.

“Growth generally within financial services is still strong,” comments a pleased Joseph Camilleri, a partner and asset management leader at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). He confirms the funds team, which also includes assurance, tax and advisory, is growing.
