Arthur Samberg of Pequot Capital believes investors should look to ensure managers are correlating their long and short positions in today's volatile climate.
Speakers at the recent Borsa Italiana Milan conference were asked individually what they believed to be the most pertinent due diligence question to ask managers today.
Samberg said he believed it was key for investors to see how close to 0% net exposure a manager is and how actively the fund is traded.
