Regulatory changes look set to prove pivotal for industry

Luxembourg's hedge fund industry is set for major upheaval with the introduction of new regulations this month. The Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) drew up a specific legal framework for Luxembourg-domiciled hedge funds this month.

General opinion in the Luxembourg hedge fund industry is that regulation will make it easier to launch new hedge funds there and provide a boost to the industry.
