Marketing and distribution of hedge funds and funds of hedge funds has irrevocably changed. The core asset base of the fund industry has shifted from high net worth individuals (HNWI) and family offices into institutional investors like pension funds.

This means more sophisticated and targeted marketing is needed. At the same time institutional investors are putting greater demands on funds and FoHFs in areas like transparency, liquidity, fees and operational risk evaluation.
