EN trades long/short Japanese equity fund

EN Asset Management, a new hedge fund firm run by Peter Nicholas and John Easton, is to start trading a Japanese long/short equity fund. The fund will have low directional exposure of plus or minus 20% of the market and will focus on larger cap stocks representing the top 400 companies in the Japanese market.

Nicholas is ex-Henderson Global Investors and was at Mercury Asset Management, while John Easton was at Schroder Investment Management and AMP. The pair describe themselves as very active
