S&P launches Africa indexes

The Pan Africa index covers Botswana, Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Mauritius, Morocco, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Tunisia and Zimbabwe, and comprises 333 companies, of which the top 10 hold a 34.6% market cap share, while South Africa holds a 60.56% weight.

The Africa Frontier index covers eight smaller frontier markets from sub-Saharan Africa: Botswana, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Mauritius, Namibia, Nigeria and Zimbabwe. The index comprises 110 companies, the top 10 stocks holding
