Prebon executes Japanese inflation options

Yamane Prebon Tokyo became the first inter-dealer broker to execute a 10-year, zero-percent inflation option on March 28.

Japan is a relatively new player to the inflation derivatives market, which is more firmly established in Europe and North America.

BNP Paribas Tokyo and Morgan Stanley Japan were the counterparties in the deal, although details of the trade were not released.
