Backed-up data storage is the weakest link, says Datafort


GUILDFORD, ENGLAND -- Backed-up data storage is the "weakest link" in the disaster recovery plans of a number of UK firms, according to Guildford-based offsite data back-up provider Datafort.

The company released the results of a two-month survey in September, which found that 28% of respondents relied on an employee taking backed-up data home for storage, with 19% leaving the data close to computers.
