Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking has appointed Bernard Desforges as head of equity derivatives, Asia-Pacific based in Hong Kong. He relocates from the Paris office, where he was global head of sales and structuring for equity derivatives. Desforges replaces Franck Drouet, who moved to Paris in 2005 to become head of volatility trading. Desforges will oversee sales, structuring and trading of equity derivatives in the region.
