International law firms are increasing the number of litigation staff they employ in the Asia-Pacific region in the expectation that more disagreements between counterparties will require legal intervention. The development is taking place as fees have fallen from traditional infrastructure financings, foreign investment and - especially in recent years - blockbuster public offerings of mainland Chinese companies.
