Change of tack for European tech at Lazards

Lazard Asset Management is to reopen its European Technology Opportunities fund within the next two months for investments from existing and new investors. The group has broadened its geographic stock universe from Continental Europe to global technology.

Reflecting this, the fund, run by Ben Guest and previously restricted to holding no more than 20% of assets in stocks beyond Europe, will be renamed the Lazard Technology Opportunities fund. Currently managing $180m, Guest said the fund could
