Halkin Capital aims to raise E40m

Three former Credit Suisse First Boston stockbrokers aim to raise E40m with the launch of their European long/short equity fund on December 3, writes Cate Rocchi.

Toby Clothier (30), Arjuna Gamage (27) and Jonathan Potter (37) will all manage the new fund, Mirabelle, from London.The launch follows their establishment of Halkin Capital Management this year. This is the first time any of the men have run a hedge fund. Before this venture they all worked in CSFB's equity sales team.
